Job description

About us

At MWS, we connect global fanbases to the ultimate fan item: game-used and signed jerseys from the world's biggest athletes and teams. We run live digital auctions for pieces of sporting history through our specialized online marketplace, accelerating engagement, interaction, and revenue for our partners while raising funds for the causes that matter most to them.

With more than 350 partners globally, including Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich, we're the market leader in our category. We're now expanding rapidly in the U.S., with partnerships across the NBA, MLS, NWSL, and U.S. Soccer, building a high-impact presence and evolving into a true commercial partner for our clients.

The role

We're hiring a Partnerships Activation Manager to own the day-to-day execution of our U.S. partnerships: running live auctions, managing inventory, and being the primary point of contact for key partners. This is an individual-contributor role reporting to the Global Head of Partnerships. You won't manage a team right from the start, but you will own real outcomes end-to-end and be part of the growth of our US office in Dallas.

You'll sit at the intersection of partnerships, auction operations, and commercial strategy, as part of a global partnerships team of 18 across five international offices, working closely with a growing U.S. team and international marketing, tech, and finance colleagues.

Essential qualifications

  • Right to work in the U.S.

  • Based in Dallas (or willing to relocate) and open to an office-based role.

  • 4-7 years of experience directly managing sponsorship, partnership, or auction/collectibles operations for a rights holder, property, brand, or agency; hands-on execution experience, not just strategy or account oversight.

  • Comfortable owning a portfolio of partner relationships without a direct-report team; this is a builder/execution role. Depending on the growth of our US office, this position may turn into a people-management role in the next 6-12 months.

  • Degree in Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field.

Key responsibilities

  • Partnership management: Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for U.S. partners, building strong relationships and ensuring seamless delivery of all contractual assets and digital auctions.

  • Auction & inventory management: Manage auction operations, execution, and inventory tracking with the U.S. operations team, ensuring accuracy and proof of performance.

  • Commercial growth: Identify and help execute opportunities to increase revenue and enhance partner value.

  • Cross-functional coordination: Work with property equipment managers, marketing teams, and internal stakeholders for efficient execution across every touchpoint.

  • Reporting & analysis: Build partner recap decks and manage internal reporting on auction and partnership performance to inform strategy.

  • Brand representation: Act as a trusted ambassador for MWS, upholding company standards while building high-value partner relationships.

About you

You've actually run partnership activations or auction/collectibles operations before. Not just manage a partnerships budget from a distance. You understand the sports landscape and know how to translate a partnership into a delivered, measurable outcome.

  • Execution ownership: You run the details: auctions, inventory, deliverables. Without needing to be chased.

  • Relationship management: You build trust quickly and maintain strong, productive partnerships internally and externally.

  • Problem-solving & adaptability: Proactive and solutions-oriented, comfortable in a fast-moving, still-being-built environment.

  • Organizational excellence: Strong attention to detail; you manage multiple live auctions and deadlines at once without dropping a partner.

  • Ownership mentality: Self-starter who improves the process, not just follows it.

  • Resilience: Energy, persistence, and a "find a way" mindset.

What else we offer

  • Compensation: A base salary of $70,000–$100,000 annually all-in. Reflecting your experience and the impact you'll have scaling our U.S. footprint.

  • Health Care: Partial employer-supported health care coverage, so you're covered as you settle into a fast-growing team.

  • Time Off: 20 days of paid vacation plus U.S. public holidays, to recharge and stay energized in a fast-moving environment.

  • Global impact: Besides your day to day in the U.S. market you’re very much part of our global business. Including visits to our Amsterdam office twice a year and other global commercial events which require your attendance.

  • Travel & Access: Regular travel to partners across the region plus access to top-tier sporting events and hospitality experiences globally.

  • Growth Environment: A key, high-visibility role in scaling a high-growth business in the U.S., inside a dynamic, entrepreneurial, international sports environment.

Our process

Our process is designed to move fast. Most offers go out within 3 weeks after the first conversation.

  1. Intro call with our Talent Acquisition Manager (~20 min).

  2. Practical assessment tied to real auction/partnership scenarios (~120/180 min).

  3. Interview with our Head of Partnerships and Partnerships Manager (~45 min).

  4. Final interview with our CEO and Head of Commercial Strategy (~45 min).

We look forward to getting to know you!
