About us
At MWS, we are on a mission to become the home of game-worn culture. We do this by connecting global fanbases to the ultimate fan item: game-used and signed shirts from the world's biggest athletes and brands around the world. We accelerate engagement, interaction, and revenue by enabling our customers to access pieces of sporting history, while raising funds for the causes that matter most to our partners. The best part? We do it all live from kick-off. With more than 350 partners globally, we are the outright market leaders in our industry. We see ourselves as innovators, constantly looking for new ways to surprise and delight our audience.
About the team & our way of working
The Senior React Native Engineer will be part of the Technology department within a cross-functional product team. The role sits alongside backend and frontend engineers, collaborating closely on the mobile experience layer of the platform.
The position reports to the Frontend Chapter Lead and works in alignment with product and infrastructure stakeholders. As a senior profile, this role is expected to provide technical guidance, influence mobile best practices, and contribute to elevating the engineering standard within the team. Junior or mid-level developers may collaborate closely with this role for technical direction and code quality alignment.
MWS operates in cross-functional, highly collaborative engineering teams. Teams work closely across backend (.NET), frontend (Vue/Nuxt), mobile (React Native), and infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, edge computing).
We adopt the Shape Up product development methodology, structuring work into focused 8-week cycles. Each cycle consists of a 6-week build phase and a 2-week cool-down. Cross-functional teams work autonomously on "shaped" projects (fixed-time bets) to deliver working software. This promotes deep focus, clear objectives, and predictable delivery, minimizing scope creep.
Engineers are encouraged to take ownership, contribute to shaping, and actively participate in architectural discussions. Code reviews, shared standards, and collective problem-solving are core to the culture. The environment is informal yet performance-driven, with a strong emphasis on quality, scalability, and continuous improvement.
About the role
As a Senior React Native Engineer, you are responsible for designing, building, and scaling the mobile applications that power our international fan engagement platform. You will focus on developing high-quality, scalable applications that deliver a seamless experience to a global user base. Working within a cross-functional team, you will innovate new features, implement robust software patterns, and continuously improve our mobile product to help MWS become the world's gold standard in sports collectibles.

Application Development: Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality React Native mobile applications.

Platform Knowledge: Experience with scalable backend-driven platforms and modern cloud infrastructure is advantageous.
Native Skills: Experience in native Android and/or iOS development is a significant plus.
Mindset: A proactive, ownership-driven attitude with an ambition to build best-in-class digital products.
Collaboration: Clear communication skills and the ability to thrive in high-performance, cross-functional teams.
