    • Zaandam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands
  • Team Shirts

Job description

At MatchWornShirt, we connect global fanbases to the ultimate fan item: match worn and signed shirts from the world’s biggest athletes and brands around the world. We accelerate engagement, interaction and revenue by enabling our customers to access pieces of sporting history, whilst raising funds for the causes that matter most to our partners. What’s more? We do it all live from kick-off.

With more than 350 partners globally, we are the outright market leaders in our industry and are proud of the role that we play in encouraging consistent engagement between our network, fans and customers. We see ourselves as innovators, both with the platform that we have created and the items that we feature on it – and we are constantly looking for new ways to surprise and interact with our audience.

About you

The Operations Intern is part of the Operations Department of the MatchWornShirt Group, which includes MatchWornShirt, Fabricks, and Frame The Game. You will be supporting our fast-growing team by assisting in day-to-day warehouse and logistical operations, working with products and clients from football clubs all over the world. From ensuring our auctions look perfect online to managing the flow of matchworn shirts through our warehouse, you’ll gain first-hand experience in how a company with major logistical challenges operates, and help us make it even better every day.

What you’ll do

  • Assist in daily warehouse operations, including handling authentication processes and frame order fulfilment.

  • Manage the in- and outbound flow of shirts and other products from clubs and clients worldwide.

  • Support the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager with logistical challenges, including export coordination.

  • Contribute to both physical and digital operational processes for our auctions and framing orders.

  • Help improve and optimise internal workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy across the department.

  • Verify product authenticity and ensure correct storage and handling of all shirts.

  • Assist in packaging, stock management, and general warehouse tasks.

  • Ensure high-quality product photography and presentation for the website.

By the end of the internship, you’ll have a clear understanding of how a rapidly growing, international company manages large-scale logistics and operations — from start to finish.

What you bring

  • You are flexible and well-organised, ready to join a fast-growing international team.

  • It’s important to be structured and detail-oriented.

  • We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on attitude — willing to learn by doing.

  • You have a problem-solving mindset and ability to take initiative.

  • You are a team player with strong communication skills.

  • You are comfortable working in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.

Qualifications and experience

  • Studying towards a degree in business, operations, supply chain or other relevant field

  • Minimum HBO level (Bachelor’s) education.

  • An EU passport or enrolled at a university in the Netherlands

  • Final-year student enrolled at a university or applied sciences institution.

  • Fluent in English (any additional language is a great advantage).

  • Available full-time for 5–6 months starting in February

What We Offer

  • Informal and Sporty Environment: An informal, international, and sports-focused work environment

  • Room for Initiative and Impact: Plenty of room for your ideas and the opportunity to make a real impact

  • An internship remuneration of €500,- per month

  • On-Site Gym: Access to a private gym that you can use anytime.

  • Commute coverage: We support your commute with a maximum of €200,- per month for the duration of your internship

  • Company events: Multiple times per year we organise formal and not so formal events in our office and elsewhere, which you can later even out in the gym

Our procedure consists of the following rounds:

  1. Introductory video call with our Talent Acquisition Manager (± 20 min)

  2. Assessment round (± 120 min)

  3. Online interview round 1 (± 30-45 min)

  4. In person interview round 2 (± 30-45 min)

If all goes well we will provide you with an offer letter and we can welcome you to the
