About the role
As the Partnerships Manager in Brazil, you will oversee the lifecycle of our Brazilian partner network, from nurturing established relationships to scouting and onboarding new strategic partners. This role is central to maintaining a profitable, trust-driven portfolio that supports our continued expansion within the region. You will be the face of MWS in Brazil, ensuring best-in-class service while maximizing financial performance for our partner charities.
Your responsibilities include:
Relationship Management: Managing a portfolio of partners in the Brazil region to ensure high-quality service and long-term satisfaction.
Financial Optimization: Identifying and executing opportunities within partnerships to maximize revenue for partner charities and foundations.
Network Expansion: Supporting the Business Development team in formulating commercial deals to expand the business across the region.
Stakeholder Immersion: Developing a deep understanding of rights holders, clubs, and individuals to build trust and strengthen personal relationships.
Strategic Communication: Effectively articulating thoughts, initiatives, and feedback to internal and external stakeholders at every level of the hierarchy.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Working with multiple departments to learn the full-service MWS solution and facilitate sustainable partnerships.
About the team
You will be part of our small team in São Paulo where you will work with 2 driven colleagues in Business Development and Operations, who ensure new partners are added to our portfolio and the shirts are being meticulously processed and delivered to fans and collectors world wide. Overseas you will find your 15 colleagues in Partnerships, who each manage a portfolio of partners in their region across the many sports we offer on our platform. You will have daily contact with them to ensure providing the highest quality service to our partners.
We are looking for the following skillset:
5+ years of experience in a sports commercial role or sports/entertainment partnerships.
A university degree in a relevant field.
Strong understanding of market trends and the ability to drive success for partners through financial growth.
You must be a team player and be comfortable in managing internal and external relationships at every level of the partnership hierarchy
Proven track record in the partnerships space with direct experience in activating from either/all of a rights holder, brand or agency.
Ability to think of solutions and provide reassurance to partners in a dynamic, "hectic" sports environment.
Natural negotiation skills and willingness to take on more challenging conversations with partner counterparts at every level
High-level verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to manage diverse cultures.
Highly motivated individual with a "can-do" attitude, capable of working efficiently under strict deadlines.
A Brazilian passport or valid working rights for Brazil.

Location: This role is based in São Paulo, Brazil, with regular travel to visit partners across the region.

Introductory video call with our Talent Acquisition Manager (± 20 min).
Assessment round (± 120 min).
Online interview round 1 (± 45-60 min).
An informal coffee and visit to your new office (± 45 min).
In-office interview round 2 (± 45-60 min).
